Parent Show
Our annual Parent Show kicks off our competition season and allows dancers to put their hard work on stage before heading to our first competition. Catch all the important show info here!
Important Notes
The LPAT is a bit strict when it comes to food in the auditorium so we ask that all snacks be eaten in the lobby or dressing rooms.
Please clean up any trash that you may leave behind! Dancers can bring water bottles into the auditorium.
We ask that parents please stay out of the backstage area because we have a lot of kids and staff members moving around during the show. It can get very crowded!
Admission is free! We would love to see your family and friends there.
Your dancer is welcome to leave as soon as they are done performing for the day, but we invite everyone to stay and watch if you would like. We would love for them to stay and cheer on their teammates. When your dancer is leaving for the day, please make sure they clean up their space and throw away any trash.
Helpful Tips:

Invite your friends and family to come watch! This is a great opportunity to get the girls used to the stage before our first comp!

Print out the dance order and attach a highlighted copy to your dancer's bag so they know when to be backstage.

Bring a laundry basket if you have several dances so when you are quickly changing you can keep all of your pieces in one place.

Video tape your dancer's solo so you can share with their instructor for feedback before our first competition.

It is MANDATORY to sew the back straps of your dancer's jazz shoes. Otherwise, they fall off of their heels.
Arrive Ready
Please have dancers arrive with hair and makeup already complete. There is too little room for parents to be backstage doing hair and makeup before we begin.
No Earrings
We will not be wearing earrings this weekend so that we can make sure none of them get lost before competition, but will wear all other accessories that have come with any of the costumes so far.
Temp Costume
If you are in a dance that will not be wearing a costume this weekend, we ask that you wear a black sports bra and booty shorts, briefs, or biker shorts. No leggings, please!
Company Makeup
We ask that the girls do normal company makeup. Everyone should be wearing our required fake eyelashes and matching company lipstick.
Company Bun
Hair for all dances will be in the high bun, middle part unless specified differently. Please make sure that everyone wears a bun net over their bun to keep the fly aways down. Hair should be slicked down as well.
Extra Supplies
Please bring hair and makeup touch up supplies, as well as any other items like safety pins, etc. that you may need. Bring extra bobby pins for any hair pieces!
