Perception Dance Policies and Tuition

 

 

Registration

A non-refundable registration fee of $40 per family is required yearly at time of Fall registration.  Parents must complete an online enrollment and electronic signature of  Liability Release Forms upon registration.

 

Payment

Tuition is a monthly charge that is due by the fifth of the month (September – May).  A $25 late fee will be applied to your account after the 10th of the month.  Returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

 

Withdrawal & Refunds

One month notice is required to discontinue any class.  Please submit your withdrawal by email to Perception Dance Company.  Registration fees are non-refundable.

 

Inclement Weather

Perception Dance will follow Olathe School District policy to determine any unscheduled studio closing in the event of inclement weather.  There are no partial refunds of tuition for classes cancelled due to inclement weather.

Attendance

Students may make up absences by attending any other regularly scheduled class where space is available.  Please email Perception Dance Company to make arrangements.

 

Recital

All students will be featured in our annual recital.  There will be many details and dates that will be communicated to you throughout the year.  We encourage all of our students to participate in our recital.  If you are not able to participate, please notify us immediately.  There will be a $75 recital fee per student and an additional costume fee both due in January. 

 

Student Drop Off/Pick Up

Please make sure your child is safely in the building before leaving.  If you have a young child(ren), please escort them into the building to insure their safety in the parking lot.  Please ask your child to remain in the lobby, when waiting to be picked up after class.

 

Classes

Classes will run from September through May.  Enrollment is on a “first come” basis and will be closed once class limit is met.  Any class with less than four students may be combined or cancelled.  If this occurs, a replacement class will be found for you, or your tuition will be refunded.  No gum is allowed in the classroom.  Please only bring in water bottles with lids.  Class attire is addressed in the class description.  Please clearly label all shoes with your dancer’s name.

Private Lessons

Any cancellation must be made 24 hours before the scheduled private lesson.  Privates cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged the full price of the private.  There is no charge for lessons cancelled with more than 24 hour notice.
