Class Descriptions

Student Class placement will be determined at the time of studio tour and assessment

Stretch and Technique: Half hour of Stretching and warm up followed by an hour of Technique which includes turns, leaps, and progressions across the floor.

Combo/Improv: Includes improv and improv exercises and a different style combo every week.

Strength: This class includes strength and cardio training. Tennis shoes are necessary.

Ballet: Ballet attire includes pink tights, black leotards, ballet shoes, and hair in a bun.

Pointe: Pointe attire includes pink tights, black leotards, pointe shoes, and hair in bun. If you are unsure your dancer is ready for pointe please consult with our ballet staff.

Modern:  Modern dance training using Graham and Horton technique.

Jazz Technique Ages 7-10: A fun mix of technique and jazz combos. Wear comfortable dance attire and jazz shoes.

Tumble Beginner: Forward rolls, backward rolls, backbends and cartwheels.


Tumble Classes :  Front overs, front walk overs, back walk overs, front handsprings, aerial cartwheels, front Aerials, back handsprings, back tucks.

​Hip Hop: Wear tennis shoes or combat boots.

Body Awareness: Body Awareness is a class that breaks down different aspects of technique.

Combo (Tap/Ballet) Ages 2-5: Combo is an introduction to movement through fun dance games and exercises. It will include ballet, jazz and tap basics. This class will need ballet and tap shoes. Wear comfortable dance attire.

Beginner Ballet Ages 5-8: This class is an introduction to ballet technique. Beginner ballet attire will be pink tights, black leotard, and ballet shoes. Hair needs to be in bun.

Jazz Funk: Learning combos of a jazz, hip hop fusion.

Middle School Dance team: Technique class for anyone interested in being on, or already on, a middle school dance team.   Working on leaps, turns, flexibility and tricks.
