Perception Dance Company Auditions

Dancers are required to wear all black, as well as, have their hair pulled back into a clean bun both days of auditions.  Jazz shoes are preferred.  If the dancer does not own jazz shoes, it’s acceptable to wear ballet shoes.  Please come to auditions warm and fully stretched.

 

Day one of auditions will consist of learning two routines used for audition dances. On day two, dancers will go across the floor and be judged on the technique portion of the audition. On July 18, dancers will perform their audition dances from the previous day in small groups. 

Dancers will audition in groups based on their age, as of January 1st, 2017. 

 

If you are unable to attend auditions, please let us know BEFORE auditions, if possible. 

Please arrive 15 minutes early, to get signed in and audition sheets completed. 

There will be a $15 audition fee that will go toward the cost of teachers and judges.  Please bring checks made out to Perception Dance or cash.  Thank you!

Ages 11 and Under - 10:00 a.m. to Noon

Ages 12 - 14 - Noon to 2:00 p.m.

Ages 15 - 18 - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Sunday, July 17th

Ages 11 and Under - 10:00 a.m. to Noon

Ages 12 - 14 - Noon to 2:00 p.m.

Ages 15 - 18 - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Monday, July 18th

Ages 11 and Under - 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Ages 12 - 14 - 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Ages 15 - 18 - 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
