Perception Dance Company Auditions

2024 - 2025

It is recommended that you complete the Audition Sheet below and email to info@perceptiondance.com or drop it off at the studio prior to auditions.  This will help with our planning and increase the likelihood of Perception Dance being able to offer you the number and types of competition dances requested.

Dancers are required to wear all black and have their hair pulled back into a bun all days of auditions.  Please bring Jazz shoes and ballet shoes for auditions. If needed, these are available for purchase at the studio.  Please come to auditions warm and fully stretched.

​

Day one of auditions will consist of learning technique and floor combos as well as the audition routine(s). On day two, dancers will  perform across the floor and be judged on the technique portion of the audition. On the last day, dancers will perform their audition combos learned on day one, in small groups, for the judges.

​

Dancers will audition in groups based on their age, as of January 1st, 2025. 

 

If you are unable to attend auditions, please let us know at least two weeks BEFORE auditions.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early, to get signed in. 

​

There will be a $40 audition fee per dancer that will go toward the cost of teachers and judges.  Please bring cash or checks made out to Perception Dance.  Thank you!
